Photography Competition

If you are a paid up Member of the Earles Meadow Residents’ Association, or a regular Volunteer Member of the Earles Meadow Conservation Group then you are eligible to enter.
This year you are invited to submit up to three photographs per household, taken between 1st September 2015 and 29th February 2016 within the Earles Meadow Open Space.
The subject matter is “The Shape of Trees” and the judges will be looking for photographs that capture the whole or part of any tree – the timber, leaf, bark or fruit, alive or decayed, standing or fallen – that in their opinion show interesting shape, form, colour or pattern.
Prizes will be awarded for the most impressive photograph, in the opinion of the Judges, plus the Runner-up. Prizes will be presented at the 2016 AGM of the Residents’ Association.
The Judges commented last year on the importance of getting the light right (wait or come back) and composition (include all that you want and exclude the unwanted).
